A doctor-led skin clinic in Kensington

Faciem Dermatology & Medical Clinic is a private dermatology and aesthetics clinic at 7 Kensington Church St, London. Every patient is seen by Dr Anamica Prasad, a GMC-registered doctor with 20 years’ experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology, and every treatment plan begins with a face-to-face assessment.

Medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology under one roof, across every skin tone — from acne, eczema and pigmentation to injectables, peels and lasers.

What we do

Medicine first, aesthetics second

Skin problems and skin ageing are not separate specialities, and treating one without understanding the other is how patients end up with the wrong plan. The clinic covers both, and the same doctor sees you for either.

01

Medical dermatology

Diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions — acne, eczema, rosacea, pigmentation, moles, lumps and bumps, and scalp and hair problems — assessed by a doctor before anything is prescribed.

02

Cosmetic dermatology

Injectables, chemical peels, lasers, HydraFacial and hand and foot rejuvenation, planned around your face and your skin type rather than a fixed menu.

03

Medical-grade skin care

Prescription-strength skincare, including ZO Skin Health, matched to your diagnosis and reviewed as your skin changes. Dr Prasad is a ZO Skin Health UK trainer.

Dr Anamica Prasad

The doctor who will see you

Dr Anamica Prasad

Dr Prasad qualified in medicine in 1999, trained in dermatology within the NHS, and moved into aesthetics and lasers in 2009. She has spent 20 years treating skin across every skin type, and worked on Harley Street before opening Faciem in Kensington.

She is not a figurehead on the website. She is the clinician who takes your history, examines your skin, agrees the plan and carries out the treatment.

The space

Number 7, Kensington Church St

A plain medical explanation of what Botox is, which lines it changes, and why placement matters far more than the brand on the vial.

Our clinic sits a few steps from High Street Kensington, with four treatment spaces behind a quiet, contemporary reception. The room you are treated in is the room you were shown to — no production line, no being passed between practitioners.

You will be offered bean-to-cup coffee, tea, or filtered chilled or sparkling water while you wait. The clinic is paperless: your records are held securely on a GDPR-compliant database, which keeps our environmental impact down and your notes where they should be.

How we work

What being doctor-led actually changes

Six things that follow from a doctor running the consultation, rather than a treatment being sold first and assessed afterwards.

01

You are examined before anything is recommended

Every plan starts with a face-to-face medical consultation and skin assessment. If a treatment is not right for your skin, we say so.

02

Every skin type, Fitzpatrick I to VI

Dr Prasad trained in the NHS treating Caucasian, Indian, Afro-Caribbean, Middle Eastern and Hispanic skin. Laser settings, peel strengths and pigmentation risk are judged against your skin type, not a default.

03

Diagnosis before cosmetics

A pigmented patch might be melasma, post-inflammatory pigmentation or something that needs a closer look. What it is decides what treats it.

04

Nothing permanent

No permanent fillers are used. Products that can be reversed give you and your doctor a way back if you change your mind.

05

A CQC-registered clinic

The clinic is operated by a CQC-registered provider, with a named doctor accountable for your care.

06

Prices agreed before treatment

Costs are confirmed at your consultation, in writing, before anything goes ahead — including what a follow-up would cost.
