Expertly Curated Cosmetic & Medical Dermatology
Welcome to Faciem Dermatology & Medical Clinic. As a patient each aspect of your skin journey will be houghtfully curated to offer you a uniquely personalised experience.
While my journey began with a deep appreciation for the sciences at school in preparation for medical school, I found myself also highly talented and enamoured by the world of Fine Art. As a result my art teacher would take us to the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy London and I recall being immersed in the works of Monet and Van Gogh. My passion for both Medicine and Art led me to achieve a grade A in A-Level Art & Art History, setting the stage for a dynamic fusion of science and artistry which has helped me endlessly in Dermatology and achieving the finest results for my patients.
In 1999, I successfully achieved my Medical Degree and after a period of general medical training I trained as an NHS Dermatology. Here I gained a deep understanding of treating eczema, acne, psoriasis, pigmentation and treating all skin types, from Caucasian, Indian, Afro-Caribbean, Middle Eastern and Hispanic. In 2009, my journey expanded into aesthetics and lasers and cosmetic dermatology. Since 2009 I started my intense training in Aesthetics and in 2016 I was invited to be lead trainer for ZO Skin Health by Wigmore Medical London. I worked on Harley Street since then.
As a teenager I faced my own struggles with acne and being of Indian origin I experienced hyper-pigmentation and so my own frustration in treating this shaped my ambition and desire to create a clinic that treats patients not only with medical dermatology problems but the cosmetic aspects. Since 2009 I I have been using high medical grade therapeutic skincare for various conditions. Drawing from my artistic skills, I transitioned from using paintbrush on the canvas ( my forte being detailed watercolour) to the instruments of cosmetic dermatology- chemical peels, potent skin care and lasers. I see the skin as the canvas where patients attend with imperfections and where I can use my tools to correct these.
